Christmas Eve

Sorry I haven't blogged in a long time! I meant to blog again later that day I made my last post, but it totally slipped my mind. I didn't remember until a couple days later, but I just kept forgetting and/or putting it off. I can't believe that it it Christmas Eve already! I'm about to go see what I can help my mom with, were cooking today for our Christmas Eve dinner. Yumm...
homemade rolls and apple crumb pie. Well, I think I'll tell you what we did yesterday: Paris and me had a friend over to spend the night on Monday, and while we were outside(FREEZING cold) we saw some girls with a wagon that had a little sign taped to it. They were standing by the side of the rode so we assumed that they were selling something, and walked over to see what it was. It turned out they were selling lemonade and cookies for a quarter each. The lemonade was really sour, but I thought it was pretty good. Since it was so cold, the three of us ( Paris, me and our friend) came up with the idea to sell hot chocolate. So we made a cute poster on a big piece of poster board, and set up a stand at the end of our street. At first we didn't do to good (and it only cost twenty-five cents!), but when we did it again around four o' clock we had quite a bit of business. Some people gave us fifty cents or a dollar instead of just twenty-five cents, and others like one man that drove by when we set up the second time, drove by again an hour or two later, saw that we were still out there and gave us two dollars just for us trying so hard, and staying strong. He didn't even take some hot cocoa! It was fun, and we made about 14 dollars. Thank-you to everyone who bought any cocoa or gave. I probably won't blog again until January, since Christmas is tomorrow, and some family is coming to visit. So, Merry Christmas to all!!! And to all a good day!!! Blogging Out- Majel

I don't have much time to blog right now...

Hi out there! My mom is coming to pick me and my siblings up to take us out to lunch and should be here any minute, so I don't have much time to blog. Its a rainy, gray day today, and not much is going on at my house. Actually, my mind is blank, and I can't think of a single thing to blog about. My dog- of course!- is sitting in the dining room chair next to me. You know, I might just blog later today, because right now, I think I have bloggers block(or something like that) Mom's home! Got to go! Blogging Out- Majel:)

P.S. Lauren-Anne, I really like that other blog name you came up with! It's really neat!

Hi out there! So we got our Christmas tree up, and I'm counting down the days til' December 25. I'm excited. There are only 37 days left, and in my mind that isn't that much. Now for a change of subject. Here's a quick little story: After I checked my e-mail I decided I'd blog again after getting Lauren-Anne's (did I spell Anne right?) comment about how she wanted me to blog. So I typed in my blog address and hit go. Well, it went to blogger and said that a blog with that address did not exist, so I typed the address in again, not sure if I was doing it right, and then hit go. The same thing happened. After that I gave up, and typed in my sister's blog address ( I know hers!) and clicked on the link to my blog. That shows what kind of blogger I am! Well, my mom needs to get on the computer now. Bye!Blogging Out- Majel

Umm...I can't think of a title

Hey out there! I blogging again, though this probably won't be a very long post. So, basically all that's gone on since the last time I blogged it that we put up our Christmas decorations, (all but the tree b/c after 3 hours of looking for it I remembered that it had broken while my parents were gone and my Nana and the rest of us were putting away decorations last year, great timing on my part, right?) had a good Halloween, and I should be finishing my math book within the week. I'm excited about that, my little sister Emma already finished. My dog Nate is sitting next to me on one of our dining room chairs as I write. I truly believe he thinks he's human. Well, that's about it. Thanks to all of you who have been reading my blog, I'll be sure to read yours! Blogging Out- Majel

My News and More

Hi! I never did remember what I was going to write about, but I thought of something else- I'm getting braces! Yay!!! Yeah, I know, I am a bit more enthusiastic about it than most people get, but I'm not going to try and hide my excitement:) I get spacers on Thursday, and my braces are put on a week after. Hhmmm...... maybe I'll take pictures of before, and then the after affects and post it on my blog- then again, maybe not! I'm not to sure who all wants to look at my teeth....:) I guess I'll stop jabbering on about my teeth now. So, Paris has been helping me with my blog a little, since I'm not too great with computers. Actually she helped me set this blog up- along with The Daily Polka-Dot. I set this blog up because I was tired of my other one and I was getting to overwhelmed. I felt bad when I didn't blog, so I just closed it (Paris helped me with that too, of course!) When I felt ready to blog again, I ended up wanting to just create a new blog and user name, (Majel is my middle name) I wanted a new blogging start. I know I'm not the best blogger, but I enjoy doing it every now and then....when I can think of something to write about! That's the problem with having another blogger in the house (one who blogs faithfully!:), Paris seems to always write about the happenings of our life before I even get to the computer! Oh, well. Keep up the good work Paris! Blogging Out- Majel (Madi:)

P.S. I don't think I've ever put so many smiley faces in one post!:)

My Day

Ok, well, the writing thing didn't exactly work out- I was brain dead the whole time. I'm sorry to say that I only tried to write about two days after my last post, witch was.... a long time ago. Yikes! I hadn't realized how long it had been since I last blogged. So anyway, schools finally started back up, pools are closed (even though its still hot out!) and after school activities are here again, witch leaves me with a lot of free time since I'm home schooled. I actually am coming up with some writing ideas, but I'll work on those some other time:) There was something I was going to write about but I forget what..... Hhhhh..., this is frustrating. Well, I'll blog again when I remember. But since I'm already here I'll just tell you about my day: Basically, all I've done today is played with my sisters, watched my kindergarten graduation video (which had a scratch on it and wouldn't work before it even got to my part), and I also watched this movie called "Noah's Ark." It's this really cool documentary about these surfers who became Christians. I know, I know. I wrote a post about not wasting your time watching TV and here I am. I probably need to cut back a bit. I mean TVs great, I just don't need to waste half my day with it. Ok, that's about it. See ya! Blogging Out-Majel

Just Wanted to Let You Know.....

Hi fellow bloggers! Its me again!(of coarse!) Just wanted to let you guys know that I probably won't be blogging for a few days because I'll be working on a book I'm writing. Yeah, I'm writing a book. I wrote the first two chapters a few months ago and then kinda quit. But after going to "Barnes and Noble" today and seeing a book written by a young teenager not much older than me, I've once again been inspired! (I think the book the girl wrote was called "Sword Bird" or something) Well, I have to go now. See y'all whenever I have a chance to blog again! Blogging Out-Majel

TV- Why Waste Your Time?

I was just talking to my mom when the subject turned to TV. How many of you watch TV-a lot. I used to! Then- after a series of "to hard to explain" events- we stopped. I mean, we still watch a little TV every now and then, but not much, because my brother has the only working DVD player in his room and we don't really have anything to watch. Well anyway, once we were at church and the paster was preaching on...... something- I don't remember exactly what- but then he told us something that shocked me (even though it shouldn't of.) He said that the average person spends 14 YEARS watching television. 14 YEARS!!! And 4 of those years are commercials. That makes me mad. I guess the only one I can blame for watching so much TV is me- so I'm just mad at myself- but after hearing that I really don't want to waste my time watching it. My mom says she'd rather us go out and have fun with our own life (obeying God all the while ) than sit and watch someone else live there's. I totally agree. I know some of you probably don't watch TV at your house- and are glad that you don't!- but those of you who do, I encourage you to try not to do it too much. Why waste your time in front of box?! Go out and live life!

God Bless-Majel

Everyday Life....

Hi! I'm back from.......not blogging I guess. Well anyway, I tried to write a more interesting post, but I'm uuhhhh-having some difficulties so I'll get back to that one tomorrow! Nothing much has happened. I've mostly been swimming today and then I went on a walk with my sister (got to have some quality sister time!) and I'm still worn out from that-we have lots of hills where we live. Oops! I have to go do some chores! Blogging Out-Majel

One of My Fave Verses

I have something to blog about! Yes! OK, I was on the blog "Of The World, Not In It" and she said to blog about your favorite verse and why you like it. So that's what I'm doing. Here's ONE of my favorite verses: Proverbs 17:27-28 (NLT) "A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are considered wise when they keep silent; when they keep their mouths shut, they seem intelligent." I like that verse because I've never been a very talkative person, not unless I warm up to you (then I could talk for hours on end!) Sometimes not talking a lot makes me feel like I need to be like other people and talk more, but when I read that verse I realized that its OK not to talk a lot. Its actually good. I'm mean, you need to learn how to interact and get along with other people, but sometimes its good to just close your mouth! Get what I mean? I hope so. Anytime I feel different or weird, I just remember that verse and I usually feel MUCH better. I hope you learned something from that! Blogging Out-Majel

My Mind is Blank

What should I blog about? I mean, I guess I could blog about us getting a new table, but who wants to read about that? Not me! As some of you may know, this is a problem I often come across-and I don't like it. My mind is blank. I'll TRY to blog later-if I can think of anything! Well, blogging out-Majel

Hi!!!

I just started this blog and I'm excited about what will happen here. I just can't wait! So the first thing I'm going to do is say hi to all you bloggers and blog readers."Hi!" Now that I'm done with that I'll tell you what's been going on in my life. Well, I've mostly stayed inside today because it started storming and now its all wet outside. I've read a little and fixed up this blog, nothing very interesting. Yesterday however, we went swimming and brought a few friends along with us. We were having a pretty good time-then I stepped on a bee. Ouch. It hurt BAD. At first it didn't hurt that bad and I thought a little bug had just bitten my foot or something, no big deal. As I lifted my foot to swat off the thing the pain kicked in-along with some fear. When I saw the bee on the ground and felt the pain, I started crying. I know, know. That was really babiesh, but I did it anyway. I think I mostly cried out of pain, but also from fear. Once when I was little I got stung by a Yellow Jacket and my lip swelled up really big. I'm allergic to them. So I was afraid something bad was going to happen. As it turned out, it wasn't a Yellow Jacket so I was OK and my dad got the stinger out really easily. I'll be carefull were I step with barefeet from now on! I can't help but feel sorry for the bee though. May he rest in peace. Blogging out, Majel.
